Arsenal’s Night Was Ruined When Bukayo Saka Went off Hobbling With an Ankle Injury

Bukayo Saka limped out for Arsenal against Sevilla in the Champions League on what was virtually a flawless night at the Emirates Stadium.

With two goals and an assist from Saka, Arsenal cruised past Sevilla, 2-0, and advanced to the next round.

Late in the game, however, the England international landed awkwardly after a collision with Tanguy Nianzou during a challenge for possession of the ball, necessitating medical attention.

It was a disappointing end to an otherwise flawless evening when Mikel Arteta substituted Jakub Kiwior for him.

As a result, his availability for England’s upcoming Euro 2024 qualifier against Malta and North Macedonia at the end of the month is in question due to injury concerns.
